Proton downgraded its deletion warnings for inactive free accounts to "a mere courtesy"

What changed

Three real updates out of twelve raw page diffs. Proton's terms used to promise warnings 30, 15 and 7 days before deleting a free account that's been inactive for 12 months; now it only "will aim to" send them, "as a mere courtesy," and the page's "Last modified" date still reads October 9. Spotify doubled its US Premium free trial to two months for first-time users, until November 1, and Slack added a new Frontline teams add-on for Enterprise+. Bank of America's new online banking agreement, which we covered on October 15, took effect on October 19. Shopify's yearly prices showed $89 and $359 again, the same rotating test we reported yesterday. The rest was noise: Tinder and Audible served Spanish-language copies, PayPal's page hid email addresses, Squarespace relabeled its buttons with no price change, and Canva and Grammarly made tiny wording edits. Amazon Prime's help pages failed to load.
