Report an error

Write to quietlychangedbiz@gmail.com with "Correction" in the subject. It helps to include:

• the link to our page,
• what is wrong, quoting our sentence if you can,
• where the right information is: a link to the company's page or document.

Companies are welcome to write too. We check every report against the source, whoever sends it.

Our corrections policy

• How fast. We aim to reply to every correction request within two business days. Once an error is confirmed against the source, we fix it as soon as we can, usually the same day.
• Dated correction notes. When a correction changes a fact (a date, a price, a quote, who is affected), the article gets a note at the top saying what was wrong, what is right, and the date of the correction. We don't quietly rewrite facts.
• Small fixes. Typos and formatting that don't change the meaning may be fixed without a note.
• Stable links. Headlines and page addresses stay the same after a correction, so links keep working.
• When a company changes the page again. That's a new change, not a correction. We log it as its own entry, or add a dated update note.

How we work

We track pages automatically, and a person reviews each change before it is published. Every change links the official page and quotes the company's own words, with a before-and-after comparison from our dated snapshots. More on our methods: About QuietlyChanged.

What we can't help with

We can't resolve disputes with a company or give legal or financial advice. For problems with your own account, contact the company directly.
