Shopify's pricing page now shows pay-yearly prices of $89/mo for Grow (was $79) and $359/mo for Advanced (was $299). Pay-monthly prices are unchanged at $105 and $399, and Basic is unchanged at $29 yearly / $39 monthly. That cuts the annual-billing discount from about 25% to about 15% on Grow and about 10% on Advanced, and raises a year of Grow from $948 to $1,068 and a year of Advanced from $3,588 to $4,308.
Who it affects
Shopify merchants on Grow or Advanced who pay yearly or are about to renew or sign up on annual billing
Slack's pricing page used to say "Contact sales for pricing" for Enterprise+. It now lists $45 USD per user per month when paying annually, with the Contact Sales button still shown.
Who it affects
Organizations evaluating or negotiating Slack Enterprise+ plans
The Enterprise plan on Anthropic's pricing page still reads US$20/seat/month billed annually plus usage at API rates, but now adds "20 seat minimum." That implies at least $4,800 a year in seat fees before any usage.
Who it affects
Small companies and teams considering Claude Enterprise instead of the Team plan
Figma's pricing page adds Figma Specs, a beta for writing structured specs on the canvas, available on paid seats. Full, Dev, and Collab seat descriptions now all include Figma Specs, and Full seats now explicitly list Figma Motion. Figma Make also gains secrets management and a scaffolded Payload backend (database, APIs, auth, admin panel).
Who it affects
Figma customers on paid Full, Dev, or Collab seats
Audible's plan page now says its annual Premium plans ($149.50/yr for 12 credits, $229.50/yr for 24 credits) can be canceled anytime "effective next billing cycle," where it previously just said "Cancel anytime." The "Save 16%" labels on the annual plans were also removed. Prices did not change.

Bank of America's new Online Banking Service Agreement takes effect October 19, 2026, replacing the August 27, 2026 version. The prior text gave customers 90 days to report errors or unauthorized activity "if the problem or error relates to a transfer from an account maintained at another financial institution." The new text keeps that 90-day window only for Bill Pay payments funded from an outside account to an outside, third-party payee. It adds: "Except for transfers initiated through the Bill Pay Service that are funded from an account maintained at another financial institution ('External Account')… Bank of America is not responsible for investigating or resolving errors or other disputes for electronic transactions that appear on your External Account statement." A related line says the unauthorized-transaction protections in Section 8.B "apply only to accounts maintained with Bank of America," with the same Bill Pay exception. Paying a BofA card or loan from a linked Chase or credit-union account now means taking most disputes to that other bank.
Who it affects
Bank of America online and mobile banking customers who link accounts at other banks, especially those who pay BofA credit cards, mortgages, or HELOCs from an outside account
Verizon's surcharges support page now states: "Effective November 1, 2026, the monthly Verizon Wireless Regulatory Charge for voice-capable devices will increase from $0.21 to $0.26 per line." That is a 24% jump on one of Verizon's own mobile surcharges (not a government tax). Combined with the unchanged Administrative and Telco Recovery Charge ($3.78 per voice line), Verizon's two flat per-line surcharge lines go from $3.99 to $4.04. Separately, Verizon disclosures show the Federal Universal Service Charge using a 42% factor, matching the FCC's Q4 2026 contribution factor (DA-26-946), the program's highest on record after 38.8% in Q3.
Who it affects
Verizon postpaid wireless customers with voice-capable lines; federal USF percentage-based charges affect wireless bills industry-wide
A Federal Register notice published October 15, 2026 (FR Doc 2026-21058) delays the effective date of DOT's September 3, 2026 final rule on airline delay and cancellation categories under Section 511(b) of the FAA Reauthorization Act. The rule, which creates a new category for ten events that will no longer count as "Air Carrier" (controllable) delays or cancellations—including certain unscheduled maintenance, removing an unruly passenger, medical emergencies, cyberattacks, and government system failures—now takes effect February 1, 2027 instead of October 19, 2026. The new categories apply to flights on or after January 1, 2027, so holiday-season flights stay under the old categories. DOT's earlier analysis said the change is expected to reduce the number of delays and cancellations for which carriers provide amenities and compensation under voluntary commitments.
Who it affects
U.S. air travelers; meal and hotel help still depends on each airline's voluntary customer-service commitments
Five real updates today out of nine raw page diffs. Shopify raised its pay-yearly prices for Grow ($79 to $89 a month) and Advanced ($299 to $359 a month) while leaving monthly billing untouched, so the annual discount is much smaller. Slack now publishes a $45 per user price for Enterprise+, Anthropic's Claude Enterprise plan now lists a 20-seat minimum, Figma added a new Specs beta to its seats, and Audible's annual plans now say cancellation takes effect at the next billing cycle. Tinder, PayPal, Mailchimp, and Todoist also shifted, but those were a Dutch-language version of the page, email de-obfuscation, a price that failed to render, and a label tweak, not real policy or price changes.
