Notion: Notion's pricing page stops saying "unlimited" file uploads, listing "Up to 5 GB" on paid plans

Notion's pricing table now lists paid-plan file uploads as "Up to 5 GB" instead of "Unlimited", and drops "unlimited" wording from several other rows.

What changed

Notion edited the plan comparison table on its pricing page, removing the word "unlimited" in several places.

Change 1: file uploads. The paid-plan cells changed from "Unlimited" to "Up to 5 GB", and the explainer went from "Upgrade to a paid plan for unlimited file uploads with a ~5GB max per file" to "Upgrade to a paid plan to upload files up to 5 GB each." The Free plan stays at "Up to 5 MB". The per-file size cap was already stated, so this mostly drops the promise of an unlimited number of uploads from the wording.

Change 2: other rows. Web publishing changed from "Publish an unlimited number of pages to the web" and "Unlimited published pages" to "Share your pages on the web" and "Published pages". Database properties went from "Add unlimited database properties and filters" to "Add database properties and filters". Version history on the top plan went from "Unlimited" to "Custom". The text "Unlimited" was removed from the paid-plan cells for pages and blocks, external guests ("Unlimited guests") and charts.

What we can't tell: whether the paid-plan cells that lost their text now show a checkmark or another value, or whether Notion actually changed any limits. The page doesn't announce new caps; Notion's help pages are the place to check.

Who it affects

People comparing or paying for Notion's paid plans, especially teams that rely on large file uploads, many published pages or many guests.
